Stay cool in the summer heat

 

 If you are looking for a way to keep the kids active and cool this summer check out a few of the many splash pads and aquatic centers here in Central Florida.

 

1. Apopka Splash Pad

Admission Fee

  • Individuals: Free.
  • Groups of 10 or more: $2 per person

The City Splash Pad at Kit Land Nelson Park includes:

  • Mega Soaker: Large bucket that drops 40 gallons of water at a time.
  • Sneaky Soaker: Small splash buckets mounted on tall poles with a water shower head.
  • Splash Blasters: Small Water Cannons
  • Fun-Guy: Mushroom-shaped sprayer for toddlers
  • Fun-Brella: Creates a curtain of water
  • Spray Tunnel: Sprays water from a series of ground spouts
Fees
  • Individuals: Free
  • Group of 10 or more: $2 per person

Schedule & Hours

  • Hours: 10 AM to 5 PM
  • Daily: May 29 through August 6, 2023
  • Weekends Only: August 12 through October 29, 2023
